Responsibilities: • Ensures cylinders are properly assembled according to drawings, blueprints, and test instructions on work orders • Uses hand tools, overhead cranes, pneumatic assembly tools, and torque wrenches to assemble cylinders • Assembles, tests, and tags all cylinders. • Operation of 5000 psi test stand. • Familiar with small and very large hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems • Clean and organize work area daily • Observe safety at all times • Any other shop related duties as needed. Minimum qualifications/experience requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Able to prioritize jobs. • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. • Mechanical background • Ability to read basic blueprints. • Able to read a tape measure and calipers • Prior heavy assembly experience a plus • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Attention to detail is critical
