Knowledge & Skills • Demonstrated ability to operate as a hands-on HR Business Partner in a busy, in-person operational environment. • Strong employee relations skills, including active listening, issue spotting, fact-finding, investigations, documentation, corrective action, and appropriate escalation. • Ability to work independently, take initiative, use sound judgment, and follow through without frequent reminders or close supervision. • Ability to build credibility with frontline employees, supervisors, and site leaders while maintaining appropriate boundaries and consistent application of policy. • Ability to coach and appropriately challenge managers while maintaining a practical, business-partnering approach. • Ability to manage urgent same-day issues, recurring operational work, and longer-term projects in a high-volume environment. • Strong organizational, analytical, project management, documentation, and follow-up skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or escalated employee matters. • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; strong Excel skills preferred.
