Lead Inventory Control is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory control processes within an organization. They lead a team and ensure accurate tracking, monitoring, and reporting of inventory levels. The Lead Inventory Control develops and implements inventory control procedures, conducts audits, and collaborates with other departments to optimize inventory management. They also analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for this role. Essential Responsibilities • Give direction to all hourly employees in the department. • Organize/Prioritize daily workflow to meet delivery dates. • Mentor/Facilitate Safety Squad/Safety Program Activities. • Coordinate inventory functions, such as fulfilling kit requests. • Coordinate receiving functions, such as checking material and receiving into inventory. • Coordinate shipping functions, such as packing shipments and creating shipping documents. Minimum Qualifications • A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is required. • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, previous leadership role is considered an asset. • Previous experience in Receiving, Stockroom and/or Shipping is considered an asset.
