Job Details: Job Description: Altera Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of supporting sales at major OEMs in the Los Angeles, CA area. This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional who can manage high-value accounts, develop long-term relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have both business and technical acumen and have strong experience in sales account management selling highly technical, semiconductor solutions, and a deep understanding of Tier 1 and major customers. * Must reside in Southern California in the Los Angeles area for proximity to customers. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and grow strategic relationships with customers. • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business solutions, product marketing, and engineering to support account growth. • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for senior leadership. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Strong experience in sales account management or related roles. • Proven success supporting customers with complex sales cycles. • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives. • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher, MBA desired (but not required) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in selling highly specialized semiconductor solutions (FPGA's, ASIC's etc.) • Established network within customer organizations. • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
