The Clinic RN Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the specific oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The Clinic RN nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Required Qualifications: • Coursework/Training Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing • Coursework/Training Upon hire, ALS will need to be obtained within orientation period and maintained on a quarterly basis thereafter. • Coursework/Training Upon hire, ongoing oncology education; 12 cancer-related CE credits per year or OCN certification • Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree Nursing • 1 year Oncology experience.
