Infection Preventionist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role. Required qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent education/experience • National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within 1 year of hire. • 2 years of Healthcare Experience • 2 years of Epidemiology Experience • Epidemiology or Infection Prevention experience Preferred qualifications: • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent education/experience • 4 years of Healthcare Experience • 4 years of Epidemiology Experience Why Join Providence?
