Under supervision this position is responsible for the preparation of food for residents, patients, staff and special events. Sets up dining areas, washes and sanitizes dishes. Required Qualifications: • Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority Preferred Qualifications: • Coursework/Training - Specific vocational training in food or nutritional training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment • 6 months On the job training or experience in quantity food preparation in cooking, estimating food needed, requisitioning and storing food and supplies, basic principles of dietetics and principles and requirements of sanitation and safety in food handling Why Join Providence?
