• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences • Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 6 CT actuarial exams • 7+ years’ experience, with good understanding of P&C reserving actuarial concepts • Strong analytical skills with previous experience of applying actuarial/statistical methodologies to business problems • Strong ability to identify and solve potential problems in their specialty and develop creative solutions • Understanding of the product lines • Complete understanding of the current situation and problem statement • Develop comprehensive understanding of the client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on assignments • Interacting with clients on regular basis, understanding their requirements and transforming that into business framework and providing actuarial solutions • Respond to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly • Support on any actuarial developments required from client side • Experience in data extraction and data manipulation in Excel, R/Python/SAS, SQL and MS-Access • Doing independent research, analyze, and present data as assigned • Expected to work in close collaboration with the EXL team and clients on general insurance actuarial projects for UK markets • Critically examine and deep dive into model and identify possible areas of testing
