How you’ll contribute: An Environmental Services Aide who excels in this role will: • Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule • Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers • Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily. • Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness. • Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors. • Performs other duties as assigned. What we're looking for: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred. • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
