How you’ll contribute An Assessment Supervisor who excels in this role: • Facilitates response to request for services, including the initial response, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care, admission into services and appropriate follow up activity • Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documenting patient symptomology, functioning, needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner • Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA • Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy, completes all per-certification with insurance companies • Ensures appropriate staffing for shift • Minimizes use of overtime • Assists in monitoring attendance • Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions • Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately • Ensure staff has completed all needed documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and additional tasks prior to the end of shift Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we’re looking for • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling required. • License: Current unencumbered clinical, social work, or RN license • Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
