Perform and report on scheduled audit projects. Participate in planning, testing and reporting on a project level. Evaluate internal controls, processes, policies and mechanisms to aid compliance reviews with regulatory principles, industry standards and corporate guidelines. • Performs fieldwork and audit testing accurately, within assigned time and budget. • Applies appropriate audit techniques/audit analytic techniques. • Helps communicate audit results to audit client and management. • Participates in development of audit scope, objectives and testing. • Assists in process documentation in narrative and flowchart formats identifying control strengths and weaknesses. • Performs tests of controls, account balances and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, documenting results in audit work papers; identifies control weaknesses and non-compliance and summarize in audit work papers. • Documents, with guidance, exceptions based on defined work paper standards. • Gains professional audit competency through work assignments, training, education and peers and managers. • Assists with special projects as assigned. • Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities. • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience (Internal or External Auditing or equivalent discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. • Knowledge of Microsoft office products. • Ability to use good project management skills. • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. • Knowledge of and ability to apply the International Professional Practices Framework for Internal Audit.
