MANDATORY: A Master’s Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in the specific subject area is required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teaches courses related to subject matter. • Prepare, administer, and grade periodic tests, assignments, and/or program assessment data. • Maintain a student attendance record as required by the Mississippi Community College Board. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Attends adjunct faculty meetings and professional development workshops and training. • Performs all other duties as assigned by District Director. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Ability to take initiative to solve problems. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Experience using technology, Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software, etc. • Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully and courteously with students, faculty, staff, and the general public. • Ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a team. • Demonstrate oral and written communication skills to interact with a wide range of diverse individuals.
