This position will be responsible for assisting in the financial close process, including international consolidation. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. • Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including creating and entering both Oracle and Hyperion entries • Assist with the global consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results • Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts • Conduct high level review and analysis of general ledger accounts • Assist with accounting for foreign currency translation • Extract and prepare ad hoc reports for management • Assist in requests from both internal and external auditors • Maintain and update the documentation of the procedure for the position • Assist with process improvement initiatives • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required • Minimum 3 years public accounting experience required, Big 4 preferred • International accounting experience required • Must have strong organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills • Experience in both Oracle and Hyperion preferred • Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy Preferred Qualifications • Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis. • Highly organized; superior time management skills. • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral. • Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality. • Work well with all levels of the corporation. • Detail oriented with good technical skills Working Conditions and Physical Demands • Position is based in an office environment • Occasionally exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, varying temperatures, and biohazardous conditions. • Occasionally travel to off-site locations is required. • Requires prolonged sitting and movement throughout office/work locations, as well as occasional use of computers and office equipment. • Must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance. • Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards. • Requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
