Ability to operate radiologic medical equipment. • Perform age-appropriate diagnostic, OR, and fluoroscopic radiological procedures. • Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control for radiologic medical equipment as assigned. • Manage image production including trouble shooting and downtime protocol performance. • Maintains repeat rates to a minimum through the proper use of radiographic equipment, patient position, and accurate technical factors. • Utilize teleradiology applications to process imaging orders for remote dictation. • Utilize picture archival and EMR systems to process imaging orders including scheduling, order transcribing, billing charges and medication documentation. • Ensure continuity and adequate follow through regarding equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, etc. • Ability to interpret, communicate and deliver age-appropriate care • Assess and respond to patients physical, social, and psychological needs. • Ability to activate, participate and follow through in emergency events. • Participating in the clinical education of radiography students, as required. • Cover on call, as required • Meet physical demands consistent with the position such as walking, lifting, standing, pushing and pulling. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. New Jersey State licensed to operate Radiologic Medical Equipment. BLS certified. Board Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
