Position Summary Under direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Lead Technologist, or Supervisor, the Laboratory Student Extern may process laboratory testing where successful completion of clinical rotation has occurred. Will perform maintenance protocols and any laboratory tasks that do not require a license. EDUCATION • Enrolled in a BS or AS degree program for Medical Technology EXPERIENCE • 0-2 yrs LICENSE • Trainee License required CERTIFICATION • N/A #LI-RS1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
