You will be the primary point of contact for our founders, providing them with guidance, support, and access to valuable resources throughout their growth journey. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sourcing and Deal Flow: • Actively identify and source high-potential startups in Tier-II and III cities across India, leveraging your network and industry knowledge • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, analyzing market opportunity, team capabilities, financial projections, and social impact (if applicable) • Develop compelling investment theses and present them to the investment committee. Startup Engagement & Portfolio Management: • Build strong relationships with founders and serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and support • Proactively manage existing portfolio companies, monitoring their progress and providing ongoing support for growth and achievement of key milestones • Facilitate connections between portfolio companies and potential partners, investors, and industry experts within Company's network Market Research and Analysis: • Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in the Indian startup ecosystem, particularly in Tier-II and III cities • Conduct market research and identify key industry verticals with high growth potential for future investments • Prepare insightful reports and presentations to keep the investment team updated on industry trends and opportunities Requirements: • Minimum 3+ years of experience in startup ecosystem, venture capital, or a related field • Proven track record of identifying and evaluating high-growth startups • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for evaluating market potential and business models • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills • Passion for entrepreneurship and a strong network within the Indian startup ecosystem, particularly in Tier-II and III cities • Deep understanding of the Indian startup landscape and the challenges and opportunities faced by startups in Tier-II and III cities • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Fluency in English and Hindi (highly desirable) Job Location: Charni Road, Mumabi Note: For our vision, our Flagship Event ' IAC VISION 2030' would provide employment and career opportunities for millions of job-ready interns, freshers and professionals in our Industry Academia Community (IAC).
