Accountant Controller requires: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience within a dealership or inventory-based business. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Hands-on experience managing inventory accounting and core accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and budgeting. • Proficiency using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Experience supporting HR functions (such as payroll, benefits, or general HR administration) and willingness to work in a hands-on, multi-functional role. • CPA • Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Oversight, Accounts Payable Management, Accounts Receivable Management, Human Resources, GAAP, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, Inventory Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Modeling, Cash Flow Management, Financial Analysis, Internal Controls, Tax Compliance, Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel, Floor Plan Financing, Manufacturer Reporting, Inventory Valuation Duties: • Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and general ledger • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models • Monitor cash flow, margins, and dealership performance metrics • Partner with ownership and leadership to guide financial decision-making • Provide insights on profitability, cost control, and growth opportunities • Support pricing strategies and inventory planning with financial analysis • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and processes • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions • Oversee floor plan financing and manufacturer reporting requirements • Monitor equipment inventory valuation and turnover • Support sales and service departments with financial insights and reporting •
