What to Expect • Begin your residency with a Medical-Surgical rotation to develop core nursing skills and gain confidence in the acute care setting before transitioning to the Emergency Department • Dedicated preceptor support and an individualized clinical orientation focused on developing emergency nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, rapid assessment, and prioritization skills • Care for patients of all ages across a broad spectrum of illnesses, injuries, and acuity levels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Six months of structured educational sessions, including specialty emergency nursing education such as ACLS, PALS, ED Nursing Fundamentals, and additional Emergency Department-specific training • Ongoing mentorship and orientation support from a Clinical Nurse Educator throughout your first year • A professional development day focused on peer support, career development, and nursing excellence • Opportunity to begin your career with a Magnet-recognized organization and ANCC-accredited Nurse Residency Program Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $38.00 to $43.00 per hour. Build Your Nursing Career At Glens Falls Hospital, we're committed to supporting your growth beyond your first year of practice.
