Performs routine product sampling, basic lab testing, and documenting quality data under supervision. $2500 SIGN ON BONUS • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Good computer skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to follow complex instructions. • Ability to perform basic root cause analysis skills. • Ability to work with a high degree of independence. • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work a flexible work schedule. • Experience with web-based applications, preferred. • Experience in manufacturing or mining, preferred • Experience in Quality Control, preferred. • Working Safely is Priority. • Performs all necessary quality testing for in-process and composites as required by SKU. • Follows work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc. • Enters data and test results into IFS daily and into excel spreadsheets as needed. • Communicates regularly with mill operator, shift supervisor, production manager and quality manager on any changes to test results, in-process testing, etc. • Calibration of all QC lab equipment. • Conduct product sampling and testing. • Record and report results accurately. • Follow safety and environmental guidelines. • Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness. • Assist with data entry and quality documentation. • Additional duties as assigned • High level of safety and quality • Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) • Good problem-solving skills • Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred • Forklift experience - Preferred • Computer Software - Preferred • Warehouse experience - Preferred • High school diploma, general education diploma (GED), or equivalent experience.
