The Shipping Supervisor oversees daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Supervision: Manage and oversee the shipping team, including responsibilities such as training, scheduling, and performance assessment. Shipping Operations: Supervise the preparation and dispatch of shipments, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels diligently and collaborate with the warehouse personnel to ensure sufficient stock availability for shipment. Compliance: Ensure all shipping activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Documentation: Keep detailed records of shipments, including tracking info, invoices, and shipping documents. Customer Service: Resolve shipping issues and inquiries from customers and internal teams. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving shipping processes and apply best practices to enhance efficiency. Reporting: Produce shipping reports and analyze them to assess performance and identify improvement areas. Collaboration: Engage in close cooperation with various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure smooth operational processes. What You’ll Need to Have: • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. • Leadership, organization, communication, shipping software proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite expertise. • Comprehensive understanding of shipping regulations, carrier specifications, and inventory management systems. • Meticulous attention to detail, analytical problem-solving abilities, capacity to perform effectively under pressure, and dedication to ongoing improvement.
