Advanced Clinical Opportunities • TEE experience or training preferred (TEE training course can be arranged if needed) • Regional anesthesia experience required Schedule & Call • First cases begin approximately 7:15–7:30 AM • “Waterfall” scheduling model • Practice time shared between Main OR and ASC • Night float week call structure Team Structure • 9 Anesthesiologists (FTEs) • 22 CRNAs • Care Model • 4:1 Medical Direction model Minimum Requirements: • Active Physician’s License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA are required. • Additional fellowship training in Interventional Radiology. • Board certification in Anesthesiology. • Specialty training in Anesthesiology. • Skilled in the administration techniques of anesthesia, including epidurals and ultrasound-guided anesthesia. • Must be in good standing with the Medical Staff of CarolinaEast Health Systems. • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
