Stella Mental Health is a leading provider of breakthrough treatments for trauma symptoms, stress, anxiety, and depression. We use cutting-edge modalities, such as ketamine infusions, intranasal esketamine (Spravato), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to help our patients achieve lasting relief. We are a community of compassionate professionals who support our patients and each other throughout their healing journey.
Position Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed therapist (LCSW) to join our team in American Fork, Utah. In this role, you will help patients heal from complex trauma and treatment-resistant conditions using leading-edge interventional treatments, with a heavy emphasis on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). (Note: The company cannot provide supervision; candidates must be fully licensed.)
What You'll Do
• Provide pre- and post-ketamine psychotherapy, including comprehensive preparation, clinical assessment, and therapeutic integration.
• Support patients throughout the treatment process by maintaining a safe, calm, and grounding therapeutic environment while collaborating closely with medical providers.
• Facilitate ongoing integration and behavioral health treatment to help patients translate treatment experiences into sustainable therapeutic progress.
• Conduct clinical assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, symptom severity assessments, risk screenings, and functional impairment reviews.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans, document progress, and adapt care based on patient response.
• Deliver evidence-based individual psychotherapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed interventions).
• Conduct suicide risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and mandated reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Promote patient engagement, retention, and continuity of care through strong therapeutic rapport and structured follow-up planning.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
• Education & License: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with an active, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Utah. (Note: The company is unable to provide supervision; candidates must be fully licensed).
• Specialized Training: Formal training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
• Clinical Experience: Demonstrated clinical experience treating mental health conditions and expertise in delivering CBT, DBT, and/or ACT.
• Core Attributes: A calm, warm, nonjudgmental presence and the ability to sit comfortably with patients during emotionally intense experiences.
• Commute: Ability to reliably commute to American Fork, UT
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience specifically facilitating preparation and integration sessions for psychedelic or interventional therapies.
• Experience with trauma, complex cases, or treatment-resistant conditions.
