Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences for residential or commercial spaces. • Develop innovative and functional design concepts that align with client needs and project goals. • Create detailed design plans, including 2D and 3D drawings, using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. • Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements. • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure successful project execution and timely completion. • Provide guidance and support during the construction and installation phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications. • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and design techniques to offer creative and up-to-date solutions. • Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines, and present them to clients for approval. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence. • Utilize MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare presentations, reports, and project-related documentation. Requirements: • 1 to 4 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential and commercial projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp software for creating detailed design plans and 3D visualizations. • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent creativity and design skills, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
