About the role • The Service Technician works out of Stansell Electric’s Nashville office, assisting in all aspects of troubleshooting, installing, and servicing electrical equipment and circuits in a commercial/industrial space. The Service Technician must show ability to work autonomously, ability to pivot work quickly and effectively, and customer service skills commensurate to the satisfactory completion of position’s primary duties and responsibilities. Advancement opportunities are available by advancing to more senior positions. What you'll do • Troubleshooting, installing, and servicing electrical equipment and circuits in a commercial industrial space • Operating heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and aerial lift platforms • Ability to appropriately interface with outside customers, clients and entities, maintaining Stansell electric standards • Good with documenting and recording daily work with detailed notes, photos, and other information using iPhones, iPads, or by other technological means • Able to manage small projects with 6 or less people • Ability to be on call 24/7 for potential emergency situations • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics Qualifications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to interact professionally with customers. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Possession of good hearing and vision, normal or corrected. • Ability to be on call 24/7 • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work autonomously and with a team • VALID DRIVERS’S LICENSE • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 a bonus • Will lift more than 50 pounds • Ability to be flexible in schedule and able to pivot workflow • Overtime availability Benefits • Medical, Vision, Dental coverage • Health Savings Account • Short- and long-term disability • 401(k) As a Federal Contractor, it is the policy of Stansell Electric Company to assure that applicants are employed, and that applicants are treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.
