Duties: As an EEG Technologist, you'll have the exciting opportunity to perform in-home diagnostic testing on patients. Using the internationally recognized 10/20 system for EEG studies, youll gather crucial data that aids in the diagnosis of neurological disorders. Job Responsibilities: • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. • Travel up to 95% of the time, driving to various locations, including out-of-state as needed. • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. • Adhere to the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Operate and manage EEG equipment, and take detailed patient histories to support accurate diagnostics. Job Requirements: • Valid drivers license, automobile, and proof of insurance are essential. • Preferred 1 year of experience in the field. • Registration through ABRET is preferred, along with current CPR certification. • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. • Capability to pull, push, and carry up to 50 lbs. • Strong communication skills with timely responses to management requests and innovative suggestions for improvements.
