The 4-6 hours of rounding seeing 8-10 ppd is for weekend hospital call coverage when there are no patients in the clinic. Coverage Type: • Department- Cardiology • Reason for Coverage Retiring and transitioning providers • Specialty- Cardiology • Dates needed - please include start and end times ASAP - end date is open • Practice Setting- Both • Does Provider need to be Board Certified- Eligible is fine • Are Temp Privileges Available- Yes • Do you only want to see CVs with an Active License- Yes • Coverage Type- Clinic and Call • How many Patients will Locum see per day 18-23 • Is there rounding? - yes • Avg patients they round on? 8 to 10 • How many calls do they get while on call? - Variable • How many hours does it take to Round? 4-6 • How many times do they get called back in a 24hr shift? 0-2 • EMR system in clinic and Hospital- EPIC • Is there support staff? Yes • There is no rounding on patients during the week • Ideally it would be someone who can read ECHO, ECG, and cardiac nuclear medicine studies. • There will be weekend call every 3rd to 4th weekend.
