Founded in 2021 under a philosophy of "peace through deterrence," it is one of the few hypersonics companies to move beyond concepts to production, with active government contracts including a $23M+ Navy order for 50 units delivering in 2027. The client has raised $1B+ through its Series C. The Role The client is hiring Senior Manufacturing Engineers (5+ years) to own and scale production of critical components for long-range hypersonic strike systems. In a 0-to-1 manufacturing environment, you will drive the transition from prototype to scalable production of thousands of units a year. The client needs people who have built and scaled manufacturing capacity, not just sustained it. What You Will Do • Own a critical subsystem or component and drive its manufacturing: defining processes, building capacity and improving reliability and efficiency. • Develop and scale production processes for complex hardware (composites, solid rocket motors, bonding/epoxy, machined components or specialty materials). • Turn development-stage manufacturing into production-ready assembly lines. • Write and refine build instructions, test procedures, safety standards and mBOMs. • Partner with design engineers on DFM and secure the resources to hit production deliverables.
