Admission Representative Wanted
Kennesaw, GA (Corporate Office) | Full-Time | 2 Openings
About the Company
Serenity Health Group is a Georgia-based behavioral health organization whose mission is that every person deserves access to compassionate, high-quality care. Serenity Health Group operates Red Top Wellness Center (Cartersville, GA) - residential mental health treatment - and North Georgia Recovery Center (Kennesaw, GA) - addiction treatment offering PHP and IOP levels of care. A third location, Steele Creek Wellness Center (Jonesboro, GA), is coming soon. The organization takes a whole-person, individualized approach to treatment, focused on continuity of care and long-term wellbeing rather than symptom management alone.
The Role
We're hiring two Admission Representatives to work out of the corporate office in Kennesaw, GA, supporting intake and admissions across Serenity Health Group's facilities. This is the first point of contact for individuals and families reaching out during a difficult moment - the role requires empathy, urgency, and strong organizational skills to get people into the right level of care quickly.
What You'll Do
• Field inbound calls and inquiries from prospective patients, families, and referral sources
• Conduct pre-assessment/screening to determine appropriate level of care (PHP, IOP, residential)
• Coordinate insurance verification and benefits checks with the utilization/billing team
• Guide patients and families through the admissions process from first contact to intake
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the CRM/EMR
• Build and maintain referral relationships with outside providers, hospitals, and community partners
• Follow up with leads and referrals to minimize drop-off before admission
What You Bring
• Prior experience in behavioral health/addiction treatment admissions, intake, or business development preferred
• Comfort with high call volume and a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong phone presence, empathy, and de-escalation skills
• Familiarity with insurance verification and EMR/CRM systems a plus
• Available for on-site work at the Kennesaw, GA corporate office
