Key Responsibilities: • Client Service: • Manage and lead tax engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert tax advice and addressing client inquiries. • Team Leadership: • Supervise, train, and mentor tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. • Provide guidance on tax planning, research, and client communication. • Technical Expertise: • Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date advice. • Oversee the preparation of complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. • Client Advisory: • Offer strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, including insights into changes in tax laws that may impact their financial strategies. • Business Development: • Identify and pursue new client opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the firm. • Collaborate with partners and senior management on business development initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification required. • 8+ years of progressive experience in tax management within a CPA firm. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team. • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Experience with tax planning, research, and client advisory services.
