Responsibilities: • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fleet maintenance department. • Coordinate with the Fleet Maintenance Manager to schedule and prioritize vehicle repairs and maintenance. • Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently. • Conduct regular inspections of fleet vehicles to identify issues and implement preventive maintenance measures. • Assist in managing inventory of parts and supplies to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime. • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fleet maintenance. • Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field (preferred). • Previous experience in fleet maintenance diesel repairs • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
