The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. • Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. • Develop Electrical design for Data Center projects. • Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications. • Act as an Owners Rep and support various engineering activities including design reviews, creation & review of MOP/EOPs, support of site operations, etc. • Prepare technical documents such as reports or design calculations. • Perform site condition assessments. • Coordinate with regional and global design teams • Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area • Do project studies Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis. • Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues • Occasional travel for site visits (up to 10% travel) Preferred Qualifications • Strong interpersonal skills, with desire to develop into project lead for Data Center projects. • Revit / AutoCAD experience. • National Electric Code experience (as it relates to Building Design). • ETAP / SKM experience. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
