Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Air Cargo Trainer to deliver high-quality training in air cargo operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, preferably as a retired airline professional, and a strong ability to translate practical knowledge into effective learning sessions. Certification in IATA cargo courses is desirable but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities: ​ • Design and deliver training programs related to air cargo operations, including: • Cargo handling procedures • Dangerous goods regulations • Air waybill documentation • Warehouse and logistics processes • Conduct classroom and/or virtual training sessions for students and professionals • Develop training materials, presentations, and course content aligned with industry standards (e.g., IATA guidelines) • Assess trainee performance and provide feedback and evaluation reports • Stay updated with current air cargo regulations and industry trends • Mentor and guide trainees for career development in the air cargo sector • Required Qualifications & Experience: • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in air cargo operations, logistics, or airline cargo services • Preferably retired or former employee of an airline, cargo operator, or freight forwarding company • Strong practical knowledge of air cargo processes and compliance standards • IATA Cargo Certification (preferred but not mandatory) • Prior teaching or training experience in air cargo or aviation-related subjects is an advantage Requirements • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities • Ability to simplify complex cargo regulations and procedures • Proficiency in training tools (PowerPoint, LMS platforms, etc.) • Organized and detail-oriented • Preferred Profile: • Retired airline cargo professional looking to transition into training/education • Candidates with prior experience in aviation academies or training institutes • Passion for teaching and developing future aviation professionals
