Role: AVP - Production Duration: Permanent - Full Time Shift: 9AM - 6PM Work Mode: On-site Location: Dindigul, TN We are seeking an experienced AVP Production to lead operations for a continuous-process manufacturing plant that runs year-round with no downtime. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, process efficiency, and innovation across production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering foundation, a proven track record in large-scale plant operations, and the ability to balance hands-on problem-solving with strategic planning. This role is perfect for someone passionate about scaling production while leading a diverse workforce. What You'll Do • Lead end-to-end production operations to ensure optimal output and consistent product quality. • Implement incremental process improvements and adopt new technologies to increase capacity and reduce production time. • Build and mentor a leadership team of senior managers, directly managing ~7 leaders and indirectly overseeing a workforce of 150+ (permanent and seasonal). • Drive safety-first practices and establish a culture of continuous improvement. • Partner with leadership teams to forecast capacity, manage budgets, and align production strategies with business growth. • Balance automation initiatives with workforce stability to deliver sustainable results. Requirements What You Need to Qualify • 18+ years of experience in plant management, production operations, or process engineering. • Exposure to high-volume, efficiency-driven industries such as food ingredients, FMCG, fragrances, flavours, automotive, or heavy engineering. • Mastery of production operations and process efficiency techniques. • Strong leadership with experience managing large blue-collar teams. • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM (certifications are a plus). • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
