Role: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Functional Consultant (Manufacturing) Duration: Permanent - Full Time Shift: 9:00AM - 6:00PM Work Mode: On-site Location: Chennai, TN We're looking for a SAP Public Cloud Functional Consultant for our Manufacturing Client. in this role, you'll own the implementation, modification and governance of the entire SAP system. What You'll Do: • Run fit-to-standard workshops; map business processes to S/4HANA Public Cloud scope items (e.g., Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing/PP, Inventory/IM, Sales/SD, QM, FiCO). • Configure within Public Cloud guardrails (SSCUI); manage BC sets, test scripts, and data migration objects. • Build E2E flows across plants: Plan → Procure → Make → Deliver → Finance. • Orchestrate releases (2x/year) and regression testing; keep extensions clean (BAdIs, Key User Extensibility) and no custom ABAP. • Own master data quality (materials/BOMs/work centers/customers/vendors), internal controls & audit trails. • Train super-users; create SOPs; drive adoption KPIs on shopfloor and shared services. • Partner with vendors for integrations (MES/QA/3PL/scanners), leveraging Public Cloud APIs. Requirements What You Need To Qualify: • 6–12 years in SAP functional; 2+ years on S/4HANA Public Cloud (not just Private Cloud/on-prem). • Hands-on SSCUI config for at least two of: MM, PP/DS, IM/EWM embedded, SD, QM, FiCO. • Proven delivery of fit-to-standard in manufacturing environments (multi-plant). • Strong test management (CBTA/Manual), cutover, and UAT facilitation. • Bachelor's Degree Success metrics (first 6–12 months): • ≥95% process coverage on fit-to-standard; ≤10% critical gaps. • On-time adoption of bi-annual SAP releases with zero Sev-1 incidents. • Inventory accuracy + cycle time improvements (baseline → target agreed with Ops). • Super-user enablement: SOP library, training completion ≥90%.
