Role: Sr. Data Analyst - Insurance Duration: Permanent - Full Time Shift: 2:30PM - 10:30PM Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Bangalore, KA You'll own data quality across core operational systems to power smarter decisions and a global digital tools roll-out. You’ll turn messy, complex datasets into trusted, business-ready insights and processes that scale. What You'll Do • Profile large datasets (SQL/Python/R/SAS) to assess data fitness, uncover gaps, and recommend fixes. • Run root-cause analysis on data issues and drive remediation plans end-to-end. • Establish durable data quality controls and partner on Master Data Management initiatives. • Define and track key data quality metrics; maintain integrity across sources and pipelines. • Collaborate with product, analytics, and business teams to convert insights into revenue/customer impact. • Uphold privacy & security (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), and document lineage, business definitions, and technical attributes. • Deliver in an Agile environment—refine user stories, plan sprints, and validate outcomes. Requirements What You Need To Qualify • Hands-on with SQL plus one of Python/R/SAS; strong data profiling and statistical thinking. • Practical understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and foundational source systems. • Experience documenting lineage, business terms, and technical attributes. • Comfortable with Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration. • Excellent communication; obsessive attention to detail and timelines. • Experience with MDM and enterprise data platforms. • Familiarity with Collibra (or similar metadata/catalog tools). • Knowledge of privacy & security best practices (GDPR/CCPA). • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent).
