Role: Graduate Trainee – Cloud Test Engineering Team: Cloud Platforms What you’ll do • Perform manual functional testing of cloud-native microservices • Simulate real-world data and traffic scenarios • Build internal tools and utilities for cloud services • Automate test cases using Python and modern frameworks • Log high-quality defects with clear steps-to-reproduce • Collaborate closely with developers and global QA teams • Participate in test planning, regression, and release smoke testing • Join daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies with US/India teams Must-have skills & eligibility • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech/MCA (CS/IT/ECE or related streams) – 2024 or 2025 passed out only • Minimum 8.5 CGPA / 10th, 12th and graduation (no active backlogs) • Strong fundamentals in programming, data structures, DBMS & SQL • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC • Hands-on coding experience in Python (academic projects/internships acceptable) • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal English communication • Good to have Exposure to Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) concepts • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman • Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins or any test automation framework • Contribution to open-source or personal projects on GitHub Why join Calix as a fresher?
