foundations—is built to exact technical specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• On-Site Supervision: Direct supervision of all civil works, including excavation, RCC
foundations for heavy machinery, digester tank construction, control rooms, and site
development (roads/drainage).
• Technical Compliance: Ensure all construction strictly adheres to approved
structural drawings, GA drawings, and project specifications.
• Quality Control (QC): Oversee material testing (concrete, steel, soil) and maintain
rigorous quality logs. Ensure leak-proof integrity for gas-holding structures and tanks.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate with civil subcontractors to ensure adequate
manpower deployment and adherence to the project timeline.
• Safety & Environment: Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
protocols on-site, ensuring a zero-accident work environment.
• Progress Tracking: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), verify contractor bills
against actual site measurements, and report bottlenecks to the Project Leader.
Requirements:
• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 4–5 years in industrial construction. Preference for candidates with
experience in STP/ETP plants, refineries, process plants, or Biogas projects.
• Core Skills: Proficiency in reading complex structural drawings, knowledge of IS
codes for concrete/steel, and experience in high-precision tank construction.
• Attributes: Strong site management skills, ability to handle local labour/contractors,
and willingness to stay at project sites.
