Roles & Responsibilities: • Review technical specifications, contract documents, and purchase order specifications for AIS & GIS Substation projects. • Prepare and review basic and detailed engineering drawings, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Earthing Layouts, Lighting Layouts, Cable & Cable Tray Layouts, Bus Systems, and Section Drawings. • Prepare and review detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for complete substation projects. • Review construction BOM, detailed engineering drawings, site survey checklists, civil input drawings, erection key BOMs, and related design documents. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams for design inputs, technical clarifications, and drawing approvals. • Prepare technical specifications for bought-out items such as Lightning Arresters, Instrument Transformers, Density Monitors, Cables, and other electrical equipment. • Review vendor drawings, evaluate technical offers, and support vendor finalisation. • Ensure designs comply with relevant IEC/IEEE standards and project specifications. • Perform CT sizing, Lightning Arrester sizing and selection, Earthing Design, and review Type Test Reports as per IEC standards. • Expertise in Switchgear and other substation equipment. • Experience in Earthing Design, CT Selection, LA Selection, and Vendor Drawing Review. • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, and site execution teams. • Hands-on experience in HV Substation Engineering.
