COUNTRY MANAGER – TEXTILE INDUSTRY Location: Chennai, India About the Company: Our client is an international company operating in the textile industry, currently expanding its footprint in India. As part of its growth strategy in Asia, the company is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead its operations and development in India. Job Purpose As Country Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and growing the company’s presence in India. You will be responsible for driving business development, building local operations, and ensuring alignment with global strategy. Key Responsibilities • Lead the setup and development of the company’s business activities in India. • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the textile sector. • Build and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution of business strategy. • Coordinate closely with international teams and headquarters. • Provide regular reporting to the General Manager Asia. Reporting Line You will report directly to the General Manager Asia. Candidate Profile • Experience: 08+ years of professional experience, with a strong background in international business development. Experience in the textile industry is a plus. • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset. • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-growing environment. • Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • International Outlook: Comfortable working in an international environment. • Languages: Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
