Position: Social Media Executive Location: Mumbai Reporitng to: Marketing Director / Company Founders Role Overview The Social Media Executive will be the creative engine behind the day-to-day digital presence of the brand. This role is for someone who is deeply platform-native, obsessed with trends, and capable of independently shooting, editing, and publishing engaging content directly from a mobile device. The ideal candidate brings a strong creative aesthetic, a genuine understanding of what resonates with an existing and growing customer base, and the drive to keep both brands consistently visible and culturally relevant across all social platforms. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Social Media Management: • Independently shoot, edit, and publish high-quality content for Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms using a mobile phone. • Manage daily content calendars for the social handles. • Develop reels, stories, and posts that are visually compelling, on-trend, and aligned with each brand’s identity. Trend Monitoring & Platform Expertise: • Stay ahead of platform trends across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social media formats. • Proactively identify and leverage trending content formats, audio, and cultural moments relevant to the brands. • Bring fresh creative ideas to the team regularly to keep the brand culturally relevant. Community Engagement: • Manage daily community interactions including comments, DMs, and mentions across platforms. • Build and nurture a loyal digital community among existing and prospective customers of both brands Performance Tracking: • Track content performance metrics and generate regular insights to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth. • Report weekly on content performance and platform analytics. Cross-brand Consistency: • Maintain distinct yet consistent brand voices across all digital platforms. • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director on campaign execution and brand initiatives. Qualifications: • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, preferably for a consumer, lifestyle, or F&B brand. • Highly proficient in mobile phone content creation- shooting, editing, and publishing without requiring a full production setup. • Demonstrated expertise across Instagram and other key social platforms. • Strong understanding of trending content formats, audio, and platform algorithms. • Super creative with a strong visual aesthetic and the ability to execute quickly and independently. • A strong social media portfolio demonstrating content created and managed is mandatory. Preferred Skills: • Experience managing multiple brand handles simultaneously. • Prior exposure to lifestyle, café, or restaurant brands. • Experience working with an existing, engaged customer base.
