Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle MIS reporting, variance analysis, and financial insights for management decision-making Monitor and control cost accounting, including production cost analysis and cost optimization Oversee inventory accounting and valuation, ensuring accurate stock records in coordination with site/store teams Ensure timely compliance with GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, and other statutory regulations Support and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and available Work closely with plant/site teams to track expenses, material usage, and financial performance Prepare budgets and forecasts, and track performance against targets Identify gaps in financial processes and implement controls and improvements Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles, costing, and financial controls Hands-on experience in Tally Good understanding of GST, taxation, and statutory compliance Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multi-location/site accounting operations Strong communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail
