The ideal candidate will bring a sharp understanding of treasury operations in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, and will play a central role in building the treasury infrastructure to support the company's next phase of growth. Requirements Responsibilities: • Cash & Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash positions across India and Singapore entities; prepare short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and strategic commitments. • Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banking partners in India and Singapore; negotiate banking products, fees, and credit facilities; oversee bank account structures and authorisation matrices. • Foreign Exchange Management: Monitor foreign currency exposures arising from intercompany transactions, vendor payments, and revenue receipts; execute FX hedges (forwards, options) in compliance with FEMA and RBI guidelines; maintain hedging documentation. • Intercompany Fund Flows: Manage intercompany remittances between India and Singapore, including upstream/downstream loans, dividend repatriation, and operational transfers; ensure compliance with pricing at arm's length and applicable regulatory approvals. • FEMA & RBI Compliance (India): Ensure timely filing of Softex forms via EDPMS for software export realisations; manage Form 145/146 for outward remittances; support RBI reporting requirements including FIRMS filings; liaise with AD banks on FEMA matters. • MAS Compliance (Singapore): Ensure adherence to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements applicable to treasury and fund transfer activities; support statutory reporting for the Singapore entity. • Investment Management: Manage short-term deployment of surplus funds in approved instruments; ensure returns optimisation within the treasury policy framework approved by the Board. • Treasury Reporting & MIS: Prepare weekly and monthly treasury MIS including cash flow actuals vs. forecasts, FX exposure reports, and investment summaries for senior management and the Board. • Internal Controls & Policies: Develop and maintain treasury policies, SOPs, and delegation-of-authority frameworks; support internal and external audits on treasury-related areas; identify process improvement opportunities. • IPO Readiness Support: Support finance leadership on treasury-related workstreams for the IPO, including escrow management, use-of-proceeds tracking, and investor-related fund flows. Qualifications • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution; additional treasury certification (AFP CTP or equivalent) is an advantage. Benefits Requirements: • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in treasury, with at least 2 years handling treasury operations in a multi-entity or cross-border environment. • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FEMA, RBI regulations (Softex, EDPMS, AD bank processes), and foreign exchange management; familiarity with Singapore MAS regulations preferred. • FX & Hedging: Hands-on experience in foreign currency risk management and execution of hedging instruments; understanding of hedge accounting under Ind AS 109 / IFRS 9 is preferred. • Banking & Cash Management: Practical experience managing bank relationships, liquidity structures, and bank reconciliation oversight across multiple accounts. • Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems; strong Excel/financial modelling skills; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus. • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with banks, auditors, consultants, and senior leadership effectively. • Attributes: High ownership mindset, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfort navigating regulatory ambiguity with a problem-solving approach.
