Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales Department: Sales & Business Development Location: Nelson Manickam Road, Chennai Reporting To: Sales Manager / Head of Sales Salary: ₹3.5 LPA – ₹5 LPA (based on experience and performance) + Variable Bonus Job Purpose The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through effective sales strategies and execution. Key Responsibilities • Identify and pursue new business leads through cold calls, networking, and market research • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients • Support in the development and implementation of sales plans and strategies • Prepare and deliver client proposals, quotations, and presentations • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs • Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports to management • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events Key Skills & Competencies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities • Goal-driven and result-oriented • Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM tools • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) • 3 to 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the B2B / service industry • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
