Job Overview: The Deputy Manager - Contracts will assist in managing all contractual aspects of projects, focusing on claims verification and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Collaborate with project managers to identify potential claims and support them in the assessment and resolution processes. Maintain accurate records of contract documents, correspondence, and claims for reporting and audit purposes. Provide support in dispute resolution and negotiate settlements as necessary to protect the company’s interests. Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying any issues and proposing solutions to management. Prepare and present regular reports on claims status and contract management activities to senior management. Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and legal regulations related to contract management and claims verification. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CMRP, CPM) are a plus. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in contract management within the EPC industry, with a focus on claims verification. Strong understanding of contractual terms, conditions, and legal implications. Proven ability to analyze and verify claims effectively. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
