JOB DESCRIPTION Executive / Sr. Executive – Finance & MIS Location: New Delhi Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2 Years Department: Finance & Accounts Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on Finance & MIS Executive to manage financial planning, reporting and compliance for a high-growth defence-technology startup. You will own investor reporting, board-level MIS, budgeting, projections and grant compliance, working directly with the founders. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis • Prepare and maintain month-wise financial projections, budgets and cash flow forecasts. • Track actuals against budget and proactively flag variances to founders. Investor & Board Reporting • Prepare and circulate monthly investor updates covering financial performance, burn rate and runway. • Prepare quarterly board meeting MIS decks and supporting financial data. Grants & Government Funding Compliance • Manage Utilization Certificates (UC), grant bills and compliance documentation for government/DPIIT/iDEX and other grants. • Coordinate with government bodies and auditors for timely grant disbursement, reporting and closure. Cash Flow & Treasury • Monitor day-to-day cash flow status and working capital position. • Manage vendor payments, invoicing and collections tracking. Bids & Commercial Support • Support costing and pricing inputs for RFP/GeM/tender submissions. • Coordinate with the proposals team on commercial bid structuring. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in finance, FP&A or accounts, preferably in a startup or grant-funded environment. • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial modelling, MIS and projections. • Working knowledge of GST, TDS and basic startup compliance requirements. • Experience with investor reporting or grant UC/billing is a strong plus. • High ownership and the ability to work directly and independently with founders. Preferred Education B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter or equivalent.
