Zeitview is looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join our Corporate IT team in Santa Monica, CA. In this role, you'll be the friendly, first line of support for Zeitview employees while building the foundational skills to grow into a broader systems and infrastructure role. You'll spend your days keeping our people productive — setting up laptops, resolving helpdesk tickets, and troubleshooting Wi-Fi and VPN issues — while working alongside senior engineers on the servers, cloud systems, and network infrastructure that keep Zeitview running. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on experience across the full stack of corporate technology, with mentorship and a clear growth path. • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT support, triaging and resolving helpdesk tickets covering hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity issues. • Set up, image, and deploy laptops and peripherals for new hires; manage IT onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and deprovisioning. • Provide day-to-day desktop and end-user support for Windows, macOS, and standard office/SaaS applications, both in-office and for remote employees. • Assist with administration of core business systems (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, SSO/identity, endpoint management, MDM) under the guidance of senior IT staff. • Help maintain and troubleshoot office network infrastructure — Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, and VPN — escalating complex issues to senior engineers as needed. • Support basic systems and infrastructure tasks such as monitoring alerts, applying patches and updates, and assisting with backups and routine maintenance. • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, documentation, and knowledge base articles for common issues and standard procedures. • Follow and help enforce IT security best practices, including access controls, device compliance, and data protection policies. • Partner with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide timely, friendly support Requirements • 0–2 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration role (internships and relevant coursework count). • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, and familiarity with common office/SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365). • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi) and willingness to build deeper expertise on the job. • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus, but not required.• • Strong troubleshooting instincts — you're comfortable digging into an unfamiliar problem, researching a fix, and asking for help when needed. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset; you enjoy helping people and explaining technical issues in plain language. • Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tickets and priorities at once. • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus.
