The Business Development Manager is the frontline revenue driver and trusted technical advisor for ARTS Test solutions Division. This role combines commercial acumen with deep technical expertise to sell complex, capital-intensive test and measurement systems to Indian OEMs, EMS, PSUs, and laboratories. Unlike pure sales roles, Sr. Engineer - Business Developments serve as "technical translators" between customer engineering teams and ARTS sales organization. They qualify opportunities, conduct technical demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs), build multi-stakeholder relationships, and close deals. They bridge the gap between what customers need technically and what ARTS can deliver through its portfolio of multiple global principals. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / E&C / E&E / Instrumentation Engineering. Diploma engineers with adequate experience may also apply. • Additional certifications in sales, marketing are an advantage. Experience: • 3–10 years of proven sales experience in test and measuring instruments preferable (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators, Network Analysers, DMM’s, DAQ’s etc.). • Strong network and experience dealing with industrial, research, and government clients. Skills & Competencies: • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strong technical understanding of measurement technologies and applications. • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. Good presentation and communication skills are a must, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point is an added advantage. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
