Responsibilities: • Varying shifts in the ED, ICU, Resource, Med/Surg, Birth Center (post-partum) Behavioral Health Services, & Same Day Service Pre-Op and PACU. • Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the various departments in the hospital. • Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period. • Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care. • Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience required or equivalent hospital experience • Critical care experience preferred • Must be willing to fill Resource Nurse role • Active IA RN license • Must have or willing to obtain upon hire: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, Hazmat, Mandatory Reporter, AMLS, and NRP (inhouse education available upon hire!) • Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems Schedule: • Full Time benefit eligible • 72 hours/pp • 12 hour Day/Night rotation • Weekend and holiday rotation per department requirements • The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the hospital Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
