Job Description- Finance/Accounts Manager Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Company :Nova Platform Pvt. Ltd. About the Role We are seeking a highly driven Manager – Finance C Compliance to independently manage core financial processes, statutory compliance, and reporting activities. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and is passionate about accuracy, deadlines, and process integrity. Key Responsibilities • Financial Management C Reporting • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (PCL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). • Maintain budgeting and forecasting models and support budget variance analysis. • Manage cash flow projections and working capital tracking. • Ensure accurate and timely month-end closure of books. • Accounting Operations • Maintain up-to-date and accurate books of accounts in Zoho Books. • Record and reconcile journal entries, ledgers, AP/AR, and depreciation schedules. • Ensure proper treatment and reconciliation of intercompany transactions (India C U.S. entities). • Payroll C Statutory Compliance • Process monthly payroll, bonus, reimbursements, and final settlements. • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and maintain documentation. • Compute monthly TDS and review optimized salary structures. • Statutory Filing C Compliance • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS returns (26Q, Form 16A), and Income Tax returns. • File ROC returns (AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC) in coordination with the compliance team. • Support FEMA/RBI filings (FLA, FC-GPR, Form 15CA/CB) as needed. • Audit C Controls • Coordinate directly with external and internal auditors during audit cycles. • Prepare required schedules, ledgers, and reconciliations independently. • Maintain documentation for expense controls, policies, and approvals. • Vendor C Payment Processing • Validate and process vendor invoices with correct tax treatment. • Ensure timely payments to vendors and employees; maintain TDS compliance. • Update vendor master data and maintain reconciliation records. • Financial Analysis C Support • Assist with business performance tracking, cost optimization analysis, and tax structuring inputs. • Prepare board-level reports and investor-ready financial summaries on request. Desired Candidate Profile • Qualification: CA Qualified / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with 8- 10 years years of hands-on experience • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and reporting standards • Proficient in Zoho Books, Excel, and statutory portals (GST, MCA, TRACES) • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities • Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through
