(Requirements): • 3+ years of relevant experience in NPD • Sound knowledge in SolidWorks / AutoCAD • Hands-on experience in drafting, detailing, modelling, surfacing, and concept designing • Specialising in all types of Metal & Plastics • Specialised in all the fabrication technologies like cutting, forming, punching, stamping, shearing & • welding • Knowledge of material selection • Knowledge in electromechanical system • Cost Reduction in Product & Tooling • DFM/DFS/DFA & DFMEA and Load test analysis • Six Sigma and 5S • VA / VE • GD&T & Stack up analysis. Issues. What will you do? (Responsibilities): • Designing: sheet metal, weldment, surface modeling, and molding. • Generate detailed drawings for parts and assembly with suitable GD&T. • Responsible for planning, designing, and developing new prototypes. • Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects. • Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for the projects. • Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to make better products with minimal cost. • Review prototypes and perform tests and finalise product design to facilitate mass production • Root cause analysis • Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce cost • Preparation, review and control of internal technical documents • Coordinating with the planning department, the manufacturing department, and the quality department.
